How to play Boop 2048
Boop 2048 is the classic number puzzle, with tiles that are little critters watching your every swipe.
The goal
Slide all the tiles on the 4×4 board in one direction. When two tiles with the same number meet, they join into one tile with their sum. Make a 2048 tile to win, then keep going for an even bigger one. The game ends when the board is full and no two neighbouring tiles are equal.
Controls
| Action | Phone | Computer |
|---|---|---|
| Slide the tiles | Swipe in any direction | Arrow keys or W A S D (or drag with the mouse) |
| Undo | The undo button | U or Z |
| Sound | The sound button | M |
What you will meet
- After every move a new tile appears: usually a 2, sometimes a 4.
- A tile can join only once per move, and every join adds the new tile's value to your score.
- A move that changes nothing does not add a new tile.
More to discover
- Every game starts with 2 undos, and undo goes back up to 5 moves.
- Your game is saved after every move: come back later and continue where you left off.
- Your best score is kept, and the What's new button lists the latest features.
Tips
- Bigger joins score more: your score is the sum of the tiles you make.
- A swipe that moves nothing is free, so you can safely test a direction.
- Keep your undos for real mistakes; they only reach a few moves back.
- Many players keep their biggest tile in a corner and build towards it.
